Memorial Day Observance, Londonderry N.H.-Style

On this Memorial Day, we encourage you to take some time to remember our U.S. Soldiers that died in military service. The small town of Londonderry, N.H., does just that in a big-time way. This close-knit, proud New England community traditionally conducts an impressive Memorial Day service that really captures the meaning of this important day. Today, American Legion Post 27 will hold their annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony in Londonderry (Monday, May 31st), starting at 10 a.m. Here is some more information on this Memorial Day Observance event  . Ravens' Nest Restaurant Opens in Walpole, Mass.

The Raven's Nest  , an Irish pub located in Walpole, Mass., opened to crowds of locals on Thursday, May 20, 2010. The site of the former Barleycorn and Paddock bars, the Raven's Nest features a beautifully renovated, welcoming look from the hanging flower baskets on the outside to the high post-and-beam ceiling, and individually hand-painted bricks on the inside walls.
